Once you’ve had enough of the hustle and bustle of the shops and heat, head over to the harbour (aka ‘Deep Water Harbour’) for lunch and drinks by the boats and watch the water glisten in the sun!

Bridgetown may be the capital city of Barbados, but it still manages to pull of a chilled, relaxing vibe in this area.

Who would have thought that Bridgetown used to be a swamp (apparently), before it was drained and developed into what we see today!!

Interestingly, Barbados used to form part of the Windward Islands before exiting the union in 1885.

Anyway, enough of the history lesson and “cheers” to beautiful Barbados!!
