Iberostar Bella Vista Varadero Hotel

Iberostar hotels seem to be very common throughout Cuba, especially those with a colonial style; however the Iberostar Bella Vista Varadero hotel offered a sharpe contrast with a very modern, clean line design.

The Iberostar Bella Vista Varadero is one of many typically sprawling ‘all inclusive’ beach front hotels on the Varadero strip – take a look if you’re considering staying here.

Personally I wouldn’t recommend it as your entire holiday stay – a few nights is enough – explore other parts of Cuba too, and stagger your hotel stays.

There are plenty of excursions (including overnight trips) to bob onto if you want to explore other parts of Cuba whilst keeping this hotel as your main base.

Check out the Buena Vista Social Club, Tropicana Cabaret Show and the Jovellanos Farm visit were all brilliant!

This hotel had just opened when I stayed – and it showed a few tell tales signs of a rushed job – but not bad overall.

Feel free to ask any questions…

Good morning Varadero!! A room with a blue view….

Breakfast

Be sure to check out the nightly shows in the theatre ( a building separate from the main hotel building – shows kick of at 9.30pm). The performers are fantastic – the routines, and costumes are non stop…

Napkin rose

The A La Carte Cuban restaurant. (There is also an Italian and a Japanese restaurant).

Cheers
