Snapshots of Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, West Wales

Two nights by the Aberystwyth seaside gave me a well needed dose of clean welsh sea air and that lovely aroma of seaweed. Aberystwyth is a university seaside town and popular holiday destination, framed by the ruins of an impressive sea front castle, built in the 1200s over a twelve year period. Aberystwyth is a town where seagulls rule and the sunsets vary from one evening to the next – golden skies tonight, and pink skies tomorrow.

Ready for a beach fire

    1. Cherryl – UK – This and that, an all rounder!! If it amuses, entertains, inspires or proves useful to just one person then it's doing its job! God bless x 💛🔆🌴🎨🌼✈️

Thank you – glad you enjoyed the photos, it was a quick two night stay, my first visit to Aberystwyth and just like Wales in general – there seems to be lots to explore on every turn. We were very lucky with the weather last week – you just never know what you’re going to get in the UK ‘but it’s being very kind this summer’ lol 🔆💛
