I want lots of Mr Men coasters, Mr Happy was my son’s favourite so I would pick that one as yellow is my favourite colour. We have a Man Cave sign, a work colleague made it for my late husband when we converted the garage into a man cave. We still call it the Man Cave.
I love the Random Thoughts post .. lol @ not wanting to work with that guy. Is Mr. Perfect a coaster or mouse pad? I would love the Hogwarts and the Platform 9 3/4 signs. I was laughing at the vlogger saying no more alcohol but drinking wine … I think she meant hard liquor. I do not like paper straws and the one you had was trash for sure. lol at that advertisement.
Thanks, glad you like these – the random stuff can be a bit hit & miss lol✨
Coasters – Mr Perfect
Hmmm, I worry for that vlogger lol, you’re probably right, I hope she’s ok 😜 maybe a detox might have been a better option 😂
I’ve had people say that to me before about wine not being alcoholic! I think what they mean is that it’s not as strong as the cocktails that seem to be obligatory today, hard spirt based. Seems its a generational thing again. I went out with a niece recently and couldn’t wait to get home, what with trying to drink the whole menu of cocktails and then shots! I did make my excuses and left early.
Oh also, thank goodness I checked for comment replies and realised it was this post – I just saw a couple of those weird signs on the wall of a house I was looking at on RightMove (my best friend is house-hunting). So people do buy them!
Loving the Beatle reception desk, but agree with you that it’s spoiled by the grubby window. Those ‘man cave’ etc signs made me positively shudder. Fortunately, I’ve never seen anyone display them in their homes, although I do know people who’ve been *lucky* enough to be gifted them. I wonder if they pull them out when the gifter visits? As for the woman who doesn’t understand that wine isn’t grape juice but does contain alcohol – what world is she living in? Is she American perchance – they do seem to have a decidedly relaxed attitude to drinking and driving over there…
Lol, yes I bet a lot of people receive those signs as gifts, I’ve not been tempted to buy anyone one yet though. As for the ‘grape juice’ drinking vlogger – yes I think she was American, but I’ve never come across anyone talk about wine like this before – it’s quite worrying 🙃 🍷
Those food, drink and dessert photos look delicious on this sunny Sunday. And I loved those Mr (and Ms) books when I was kid. Looks like a Mr Perfect indeed!
Your “idle chatter” was just what I needed today, Cheryl. I can honestly say that I do not have a sign anywhere inside or outside my house. Thank you for a nice post!

I love the garage conversion concept – that was a perfect man cave 🤗💛

Lol. I read about someone who died while trying to drink every cocktail on a menu earlier this year, not sure if it was a bet or a dare etc…very sad.
I expect men buy the “Mr. Perfect” coasters for themselves.
🤣 You might be right, I didn’t think of that !!

That confirms it then, glad they’re not just gathering dust in the shops 😆

I enjoyed this, thank you! That’s a lovely poppy, by the way.
👌 Ahh, thank you Liz!
I so enjoyed your “idle chatter” adventure for the beginning of September! Great work!
So interesting how much passes through our minds in a short period of time. Thanks for the trip.
Keep taking those trips Nancy!

A great ramble Cheryl. Sometimes, it pays to think out loud. Have a great Sunday. Allan
