Time Out: Give Yourself a Break

Are you due for some time out? I’m talking about taking a break, getting away, an escape from the daily grind – a much needed mental and perhaps a physical rest.

Maybe some time alone to flop around with no demands on your attention.

The freedom to think, read, write, daydream and explore creative ideas.

Space to tune into your spiritual depths.

Let the mind show you what’s been bottled up and shoved in a corner over recent days, weeks, months or even years!

Tune into thoughts, feelings, ideas, fears, motivations.

Declutter and click a psychological ‘refresh’ button.

Time out to sleep, and snooze as and when – without restriction, blissful rest.

The weekend is often not enough.

Please do not disturb

It’s healthy to factor in some time for ‘you’, some ‘selfish time’ if you want to call it that. It’s necessary, and you deserve it.

Selfcare.

What this looks like for you, is up to you – there are no rules “different strokes…..” and all that.

One thing’s for sure though, you’re not much use to yourself or anyone else if you’re deprived of it, so go on – give yourself a break.

Whatever takes for you to feel relaxed, rested and detached from life’s stresses

  1. LesV – Welcome to LVEPhotos. My name is Les and I am street photographer living in Brooklyn, New York. I have been doing photography for quite a while now, exploring different forms and techniques through my journey. I am a huge sports fans but I rarely take sport photos. Must of my work consists of tropical places, people having fun, and cityscapes all around the world as I like to travel. LVEPhotos is not just my portfolio but it’s my life. Expect a lot of content, guides, products but most importantly expect to be inspired.
