Waiting for my flight home from Delhi airport (and what an airport - there's no danger of coming home with a pocket full of rupees, that's for sure, plenty of lovley gift shops to take care of that). My little taste of India was worth all the early starts and long drives throughout. The one and only.......🕌 Looking at the Taj Mah

The one and only.......🕌
Looking at the Taj Mahal from a distance looks just like the pictures you see in books/social media, but when you're stood right up against it's walls and the sun is beaming off all that white marble and you look up and feel it's size and height, it's pretty spectacular, especially against a beautiful blue sky👌
One of the seven wonders and such a sad and sweet story behind why an Indian king built this palace, and how his romance ended 💞
However - the Indian man I was sat next to on the plane ride home told me that the story they tell tourists isn't the 'real' story and that the true story is a bit more weird!!!! I need to get around to researching this - I'm intrigued!! 🧐🤔

The highlight 🏆🥇 On the third and final attempt (which I almost decided not to bother getting up for) I finally came closer than I ever imagined - to a tiger,well two tigers!!! It was quite an emotional moment, such a privilege and quite surreal.
The adrenaline, excitement and fear 🤪 all at the same time ( she could have jumped up on the jeep and had any one of us for breakfast lol) crazy!!!!! 🦁
