Calm, relaxed and at peace, that’s how I feel when I’m near the sea, hearing the waves, feasting on an infinite ocean view, my mind is clearer and thoughts come to me more easily.
The sea seems charged with emotion, sometimes it’s still, unassuming and beckoning, then within hours, minutes even, it develops an almighty rage, tossing and turning, roaring out into the horizon.
There is an unspoken therapy in those waves, that shoreline, the sea air.
My allure with the ocean is fuelled by its mesmerising and mysterious energy.
There are depths of the ocean that have never been explored, impossible to reach….another world.
To sit an watch the ocean is to massage my mind, the ultimate spa treatment.

Sea can escape us from pressure and forget the hustle and bustle of the city. I love it

Me too, I agree, the sea is so relaxing and therapeutic ๐ ๐

I have quite the opposite affinity with space. Oceans have always made me cautious. Not sure if itโs because I grew up on an island surrounded by water
Cherryl
…is that to do with vast spaces in general, or the sea in particular? The sea can definitely be very scary too if you’re near or in it at the wrong time.

I have a deep respect for the ocean and itโs ability to consume, hide then reveal only when it is ready. There is a fear which also goes with that I suppose
Cherryl
I absolutely agree, it’s such a powerful force and capable of stirring a whole host of emotions – including fear – those big stormy waves can look pretty foreboding!

Couldnโt agree with you more. Iโve had three properties with sea/lake views and itโs where Iโve felt happiest.
