Rick’s Cafe, is one of the most popular tourist spots to hang out in Negril.
Pull up by road or boat (try both).
Get drinks
Watch daring divers
Be a daring diver
Listen to live music
Watch the most amazing sunsets
Job done.
The sunsets were some of the best I’ve ever seen!! Especially whilst doing the boat trip to and from Ricks.
We did a drive up and back – as well as a catamaran sail from Margaritaville beach and back on another day.

We were there in October, it’s the slow season in Jamaica. I am amazed by all the people in your photographs. It was not crowded when we were there. One of my favorite necklaces came from a local vendor across the street. A sweet elephant on cord, created with the trickiest way to adjust the length. I must find out how to copy the knots and the way they slide up and down to adjust the necklace. Thanks for bringing back very good memories with your post.

I think it would be nice to experience the low season as well, a more relaxed mood – we were there over Christmas and new year so I guess we were asking for it lol (crowds). The memories are priceless – you can take yourself back there anytime with them.
You might find some helpful videos on youtube for your necklace – it’s surprising the amount of ‘useful’ stuff people share on there… 😊

Thanks for the tip…I’ll do that!

Ricks is awesome! My fave part of Jamaica, even if very busy and touristy.

It really is a great place, I didn’t mind the touristy/busy atmosphere – it seems to suit it.
