Aย taxi drive down to the western side of the island takes us to Antigua & Barbuda’s capital, St John’s. Lots of people, traffic, shops, colour and day to day hustle and bustle.

lovely colourful post. Was in Antigua for only a day while on a cruise and since it wasn’t a sunny day we just stayed by the port in St John’s. Wrote about it on the blog just yesterday so have a read.

Wow, like many islands in the caribbean there are just many cruise ship tourists (guilty here) coming ashore!

Very true, but that’s good because the islands thrive on tourism. I do think the cruise ship tourists miss out a little though, as they normally have less than 24hrs on each island, so not much time to explore – but they can always go back!

Oh yes, much warmer and friendlier thankfully ๐

Hope you’re getting a warmer reception in St Johns!
