Are you due for some time out? I’m talking about taking a break, getting away, an escape from the daily grind – a much needed mental and perhaps a physical rest.
Maybe some time alone to flop around with no demands on your attention.
The freedom to think, read, write, daydream and explore creative ideas.
Space to tune into your spiritual depths.
Let the mind show you what’s been bottled up and shoved in a corner over recent days, weeks, months or even years!
Tune into thoughts, feelings, ideas, fears, motivations.
Declutter and click a psychological ‘refresh’ button.
Time out to sleep, and snooze as and when – without restriction, blissful rest.
The weekend is often not enough.

It’s healthy to factor in some time for ‘you’, some ‘selfish time’ if you want to call it that. It’s necessary, and you deserve it.
What this looks like for you, is up to you – there are no rules “different strokes…..” and all that.
One thing’s for sure though, you’re not much use to yourself or anyone else if you’re deprived of it, so go on – give yourself a break.

Totally agree! It’s also good to breathe in between activities, if you cannot take a real break π
