If all Derby’s shops, and riverside musings aren’t enough for you, then a visit to Derby Cathedral might just add a little extra something to your wanderings. After a hearty breakfast, a visit to the Cathedral didn’t disappoint, if mobility is strained then it’s a bit of an uphill walk in the Cathedral Quarter region of the city centre, with lots of pubs and restaurants lining the way.

Yes, it is quite light, a lot of churches tend to feel darker, and the chandeliers were a nice touch too.✨
